Byram
Nothing got past him when he came on and also got forward well at times. I was concerned that he isn't ready, but he has shown in preseason that he is the real deal. Excellent news, I think he will become a top player.

That seems like a really logical assumption Eddie.....

Re: Byram
So with this fella always being injured, and this Ben Johnson kid getting on the bench (who i presume is fucking quick), then I wouldn't be shocked if Bryam's WHU days are numbered.

Re: Byram
I think we need to play a back three with wing backs, with Kouyate one of the three. This is also the best way of accommodating two strikers. With the squad we have the only realistic option at wing back is Byram. To me Zabaleta was a poor signing and he is massively being found out. Moyes needs to work all this out very quickly.

That's cos oppositions have now identified Zaballeta as the weakest in a whole chain of weak links.

Re: Byram
agreed Alf
the owners have made this mess. Ok Obiang came into this season off the back of a decent season so its a surprise the current form
Noble and Kouyate came into this season off the back off a terrible one but yet no replacements purchased

it stinks of incompetence

It's a lot to ask him to do both.

Re: Byram
Kouyate in a back three or worst case right back. He is not capable of anything but defending or being a spoiler and at least it will be clear he has to mark players it wont be optional.

That then leaves the whole central or defensive midfield problem. This has been an issue for so long.

Noble will do no worse but really there is no one to come into this area and do not mention the featherweight Fernandez . We have no options but youth / U23 players.

Re: Byram
100% needs to get a run when he's back from injury

the old man has now gone from being potential HOTY to a delusional old man in the space of a month, he's finished and is now costing us

It's time to drop Zabaleta and Hart, Byram seriously can't do any worse

JOHNNY V 1:44 Thu Nov 30

You seriously want to play 4 full backs and Antonio in the middle?

Even more mental than Bilic or Moyes tactics.

Re: Byram
Yep sadly it's the second season in a row where he's got injured during a period where he would definitely have been selected.

JOHNNY V 1:44 Thu Nov 30
Re: Byram
Play him infront of zab, back to basics Arthur and Byram infront of zab and Cresswell, they will help the full backs out and still offer a threat going forward. Arnie and Ayew offer nothing, play Antonio more centrally off a striker and move Lanzini deeper where he can actually control a game.

Re: Byram
Sooner the better. I’d have him right back and stick Zab in centre mid alongside Rice. Anything but Obiang and Kouyate.

Nordtveit right back at Sunderland? Thousands cancel plans to travel north.

FFS

Dropping like flies once again.

Pity as he was looking decent at last.

Re: Byram
Hopefully he's back for the Sunderland game or we're back to the right back roulette game where we pick any random player.

Re: Byram
This fella has had no luck at WHU has he. As soon as he has a decent match, he promptly gets injured. Gutted for the lad.
